Rosalie K. McCluskey,
85, of Bartlesville, died at 1:05pm, Friday, August 27, at the Forrest
Manor Nursing Home in Dewey. The family requests private family
services. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown
Funeral Home. Rosalie is survived by three children; Michael
McCluskey, Katherine McCluskey Kemp and Kirck McCluskey, eleven
grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Memorial contributions

Aleen Ruth Staton,
90, died Sunday, August 29. Services will be held 2pm, Friday
at the First Christian Church in Caney, Kansas, directed by the
Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Mr. George Leroy Hickman,
82, Bartlesville resident and retired insurance agent, passed away
at 1:15pm, on Monday, August 30, in Bartlesville. Funeral
service will be held at 10am on Friday, September 3, in the First
United Methodist Church with Rev. Buz Wierick as the officiant.
Graveside services and interment will be directed at 4pm,
in the Osage Cemetery, Agra, Oklahoma with Rev. Hugh Welby as the
officiant. Military rites will be conducted at the graveside
by the Ft. Sill Honor Guard. Funeral services are entrusted
to the Arnold MOore Funeral Service. Memorial contributions
are requested to either First United Methodist Church, PO Box 1136,
Bartlesville, OK, 74005 or the Salvation Army, 101 N. Bucy, Bartlesville,
OK 74003, in lieu of flowers. Mr. HIckman will lie in state
in the Drawing Rooms of the Arnold MOore Funeral Residence.
Vistiation with the family present will be from 4 to 8 on Thursday,
September 2. An Oklahoma native, George Leroy Hickman was
born December 21, 1927 at Ripley. He was the son of the late
Ellsworth Hickman and Grace Annice (Mattocks) Hickman. George
was reared and received his education in the Agra, Oklahoma Public
Schools. He was graduate of the Senior Class of 1946 from
the Agra High School. IN 1948, George was enlisted in the
United States Army and served in the Medical Corps until his honoorable
discharge in 1952. On August 16, 1952 he was united in marriage
at Bad Hersfeld, Germany to Helga I. Hardtke. George was employed
by McDonald Douglas, Tulsa, Oklahoma, from 1953 to 1956 while continuing
his education at the University of Tulsa from which he received
his B.S. Degree in Business Law and Accounting. He then was
an agent with the American National Life INsurance Company from
1956 to 1960 and First Investment INsurance Agency from 1960 to
1982. In 1982 George began the George Hickman INsurance Agency
and remained active until it was sold. George was a member
of the First United Methodist Church of Bartlesville; Bartlesville
Masonic Lodge #284 A.F & A.M.; Uptown Civitan Club; and Life
Member of the Salvation Advisory Board in Bartlesville. Other
awards and recognition included INternatioal Honor Key, Civitan
INternation, District HOnor Key Civitan INternational, Harry Denman
Evangelism Award from the United Methodist Church; Outstanding Citizen
Award from the City of BArtlesville, and was twice named Civitan
of the Year. Survivors are his wife, Helga I. of BArtlesville
home; two daughters, Freda (HIckman) Bretz and Grace (Hickman) Farmer
also of Bartlesville.

Gillespie, 86, died Monday, August 30. Graveside
services will be 1pm, Friday, September 3, in the Sunset Memorial
Gardens Cemetery at Odessa, Texas, directed by the Stumpff Funeral
Home & Crematory.
