The Washington County board of Commissioners took action on several agenda items pertaining to roads during their Monday morning meeting. An annual memorandum of agreement between the Cherokee Nation and the Board will be valid from October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016. If there is an issue on roads that belong to the County but run through Cherokee land, the agreement is already in place for work to be done. An agreement for road use by Enbridge to make needed repairs to existing pipeline was also approved with some exceptions according to Commissioner Mitch Antle.

Resolutions were also approved for the sale of surplus equipment.
