Dewey voters said "yes" on Tuesday. The Dewey City Council asked voters to extend a sales tax to fund infrastructure projects.  The vote was 77 percent in favor of continuing the tax.  Speaking on KWON prior to the vote, City Manager Kevin Trease said the money will pay for capitol improvements such as police and fire vehicles and infrastructure.

Caney Valley voters passed two school bonds.  The questions garnered more than 86 percent yes votes.  Voters approved improvements to the running track, repairs to the middle and high school roof, and work on a storm shelter. A transportation bond also got the nod from voters.

Copan voters defeated two proposed changes to the town charter.  Voters said no by a 56 to 43 percent margin.
