A potent cold front will be making its way across Oklahoma this weekend and Sunday morning the temperature could fall below 20 degrees for the first time since March. Washington, Osage and Nowata counties, along with the rest of northeast Oklahoma, will be under a freeze warning from 6 P.M. Saturday evening through 9 A.M. on Sunday.

Some reminders about freeze warnings. Pets and plants should be brought indoors. If you can't bring your pets in, make sure they have warm shelter. Also, when you start your vehicle Sunday morning, check under your car or honk your horn. Cats are notorious for getting up under the hood. Large plants should be covered and moved closer to your home.
