A Bartlesville man who is accused of trying to run over a man with a car, has his preliminary hearing delayed until February 16th because a witness was unable to appear in court.  Steven Lee Teeter is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, DUI, two counts of malicious injury to property, and assault and battery.  Bartlesville police were called to investigate an accident at a driveway located in the 500 block of NW Turner Place.

According to a court affidavit, the victim saw the suspect intentionally ram his vehicle into a parked car.  The impact pushed the wrecked car into a garage door.  Reportedly, witnesses saw Teeter attempt to run over the victim, but instead hit a gas meter.  Officers smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from Teeter.

Bond remains at $50,000.
