Unemployment Rates Steady

The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission released their unemployment figures from December. According to the commission, two of Oklahoma's 77 counties saw their unemployment rates rise. Washington, Nowata, and Osage counties saw their unemployment rates decline.
Nowata County's unemployment rate is currently 5.1 percent, down from 5.4 percent. Osage County's unemployment rate is 4.8 percent, down from 5.1 percent while Washington County's unemployment rate is four percent, down from 4.3 percent.
