The Bartlesvlle Sports Commission and the Great American Conference had some good news they were sitting on over the past couple weeks. 

The GAC has renewed its contract with Bartlesville to host the conference's men's and women's basketball tournament for three more years, ensuring Bruin Fieldhouse to be the home of the tourney through 2019. 

Bartlesville has been the home to the tournament since the conference's inception in 2012. 

GAC commissioner Will Pruitt talks about why the presidents and administrators from the conference want Bartlesville to continue hosting.

The 2016 GAC Tournament begins on March 3 at Bruin Fieldhouse, on campus at Bartlesville High School. KWON will have more information on that event in the coming weeks.
