Boil Order Issued for Barnsdall
Bill Lynch
The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality has issued a Boil order for residents of Barnsdall. Residents are urged to bring all water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before consuming, or use an alternate such as bottled water.
Residents will be notified when the water is once again safe for consumption. A boil order is issued when a public water supply exceeds a certain maximum contaminant level which could be harmful to the health of consumers.
