Unemployment Rates Drop

The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission released their March 2016 unemployment numbers.  According to the commission, 48 of Oklahoma 77 counties saw their unemployment rates drop while 14 counties saw the rates increase. 

Washington, Nowata, and Osage counties saw their unemployment rates drop.  Nowata County's rate dropped from 5.7 percent to 5.4 percent.  Osage County's unemployment rate decreased from 5.6 percent to 5.4 percent.  Washington County's rate dropped from 4.7 percent to 4.4 percent.
