Wasihington County to Fill Vacant Treasurer's Office Job

Washington County Commissioners plan to appoint Melissa Thornbrough to fill the vacant county treasurer's office Monday morning.  The agenda calls for District Judge Curtis DeLapp to administer the oath of office once Thornbrough has the job.  She will complete unepired term left vacant when Brad Johnson retired as of the end of April.

The board will also act on a proposed Oklahoma Home and Community Education proclamation.  Margaret Grindle of the organization will be on hand to accept the proclamation.

The board of Commissioners will meet at 9 o'clock Monday morning at the Courhouse Administrative Center.
