The Bartlesville City Council approved a management agreement with the Richard Kane YMCA for the operation of the Sooner and Frontier swimming pools.  This is the second year that the City and YMCA have partnered to make the swimming season a success.  Richard Kane YMCA CEO Robert Phillips said the transition was very successful.

Roberts told the council that 43 people have been hired to run both Frontier and Sooner pools.  Director of Parks and Recreation Lisa Beeman said that attendance was up last year and she expects the same this year.
