The Nowata Chamber of Commerce will hold it's annual City Wide Garage Sale on the first weekend of June. Nowata's residents will be setting up sale areas all over town, and people from surrounding cities are welcome to join in on the event. Nowata Chamber Executive Director Skylar Waters shared some details about the event.
 

If you don't have a garage, live in a rural area or do not have a proper place to set up a sale, you can reserve a spot at one of Nowata's local parks. The availability of the park placements will be on a first come, first serve basis. Also, Waters said you can advertise and showcase your sale location in the Nowata Star.
 

To register for the Nowata City Wide Garage Sale, call 918-440-7652 between the hours of 9 and 1, Monday through Friday. You may also register by emailing nowatachamber@sbcglobal.net or chamber@nowata.com. The deadline to register your garage sale is May 31. For more details, visit nowata.com and go to events.
