White Rose Cemetery held a Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday morning at the cemetery gazebo.  The ceremony featured an Invocation from Representative Earl Sears, the Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem by American Heritage Girls Troop 1776, a poetry reading by Kim Inman, a wreath presentation in honor of fallen soldiers by the Bartlesville chapter Blue Star Mothers, and guest speaker Bill Teel. Teel spoke on honoring those who gave their life.

Taps and a 21 gun salute were scheduled, but due to last minute circumstances, neither could be performed. Despite the minor setback, many people gathered at the ceremony to pay their respects and honor those soldiers.
