Former Bartlesville Mayor, Julie Daniels defeated former educator, Jean Oliver for the GOP State Senate District 29 nomination.  After all the votes were counted, Daniels had 4,288 votes for 59 percent of the vote.  Oliver garnered 2,995 votes for 41 percent of the vote.

Daniels was humble and appreciative Tuesday night.

Oliver was thankful for those who supported her throughout the election, and was thankful for the experience.

Daniels now will face former school superintendent, Democrat Robert Jobe of Delaware in the General Election.
