An one-year old baby girl from Bartlesville was injured following a single-vehicle accident Thursday morning on State Highway 123 a half of a mile south of County Road 2470, seven miles south of Bartlesville in Osage County.

According to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, the baby was transported by Bartlesville EMS to Jane Phillips Medical Center with head, arm, trunk internal, trunk external, and leg injuries.   The driver of a 2007 Ford Focus driven by 21-year old Stevi Wright of Bartlesville was not hurt.  Wright was southbound in the northbound lane passing five vehicles.  The driver was in a no-passing zone for several hundred feet before she encountered a northbound vehicle which caused her to leave the road striking a private driveway, went up the air for 105 feet.  The vehicle hit the ground, rolled 11 and a half times before coming to rest on the east side of State Highway 123.
