Sandy Koufax World Series: Day 2
Bartlesville’s team, the Oklahoma Aces, stole the show to stay alive in day two of the Sandy Koufax World Series on Thursday.
The Aces topped the New Mexico Solar Sox 7-6 to keep breathing in the 14-and-under nationwide event being held this week at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium. Oklahoma scored a run in the bottom of the sixth to break a 6-6 tie to get the win.
The Aces will still face elimination today against South Troy, another one-loss team. They will play at 5:00 on Friday evening in downtown Bartlesville.

Puerto Rico Tigers: 15 – Chicago White Sox: 6
Nashville Knights: 10 – South Troy Dodgers: 0
New Mexico Solar Sox: 6 – Oklahoma Aces: 7 (Solar Sox eliminated)
