One person died in a Coffeyville house fire Wednesday morning. 

Coffeyville Firefighters were called to the home in the 300 block of West 3rd Street around 7:30.  Flames could be seen through a bedroom window. 

Fire Chief James Grimmett says one person died in the blaze.  The victim has been identified as 46-year-old Edgar Leroy McIntire. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Coffeyville Fire and Police Departments.  The State Fire Marshall’s Office has also been called in to assist in determining the cause of the fire.
