Woolaroc announced Saturday night’s Cow Thieves & Outlaws Reunion is moving to the Woolaroc Museum due to forecasted thunderstorms.

The historic fundraiser, originally planned at Clyde Lake, is now sold out with close to 750 tickets sold.

“We held the party in the museum eight years ago, and people still talk about what a fun night it was,” said Woolaroc CEO Bob Fraser. “You have to love it when people are cheering about using the rain contingency plan.”

Fraser says that this will also give many Woolaroc patrons the opportunity to see all the museum renovations and updates.

“In the last 11 years, Cow Thieves & Outlaws has raised $1.35 million for Woolaroc. The museum renovations would not have been possible without all our generous event sponsors and regular supporters.”

The sponsor’s party remains at the Woolaroc Lodge and kicks off Saturday, September 24th at 5 p.m. followed by the main event beginning in the museum at 6:30 p.m.  Guests will enjoy delicious southwest cuisine provided by Sterling’s Grille, The Painted Horse and Shorties Grille and desserts by Cup ‘N Cakes. A full cash bar is also provided by Sterling’s Grille.

Music begins with The O’s, who are back from last year by request, followed by country music rising stars Mike and the Moonpies. Guests are encouraged to dust off their dancing boots.

“The fabulous food, music and artists will all be placed throughout the museum,” Fraser said. “It is going to be a fantastic night surrounded by some of the best southwest art in the nation. It really is an incredible venue for our beloved event.”

For more information or questions, call the Woolaroc office on Monday thru Friday at 918-336-0307, ext. 10 or 11 or visit www.Woolaroc.org. Updates and detailed information will be posted on the Cow Thieves & Outlaws Reunion Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/CowThievesandOutlawsReunion.
