A Bartlesville man who remains in the Washington County Jail facing other charges, now has a new felony charge.  Skyler Dean Ray Barcus is charged with injuring or burning a public building.  Last week, prosecutors declined to file on this case, but now decided to file this new case.

According to a court affidavit, Barcus was caught on video which showed him kicking and damaging a pod door.  Barcus told Washington County Sheriff Deputies he didn't mean to damage the door.  This is not the first time Barcus has damaged the county jail.  A few months ago, Barcus was accused of damaging the jail's sprinkler system.

Barcus next court date for the new charge is set for November 4th.
