A $50,000 bond has been set for a Pawhuska man who allegedly attempt to get away from police and faces a number of violations.  39-year old Jeremy Don Curry is charged with possession of methamphetamine, attempt to elude a police officer, driving under the influence of drugs, driving with a suspended license, failure to carry insurance, and assault on a police officer.  Bartlesville police received a call from a witness that saw Curry left Walgreens in a motorcycle and appeared to be intoxicated.

According to a court affidavit, officers caught up with Curry as he attempt to evade and almost wrecked the motorcycle.  Reportedly, the motorcycle engine stopped running and Curry tried to restart the engine.  The affidavit states that Curry wouldn't cooperate with the officer.  That's when the officer physically removed Curry from the motorcycle.  Curry tried to hit the officer's rib and then the officer used the tazer gun.  Curry was found in his possession a bag of meth and discovered his license was suspended and didn't carry insurance.

Curry's next court date is December 16th.
