A Bartlesville man accused of attacking his girlfriend has been bound over for formal arraignment scheduled for December 30th.  Richard Dean Robinson is charged with domestic assault and battery by strangulation.  Bartlesville police were called to investigate a report of a domestic incident in the 100 block of South Comanche Avenue.

A court affidavit shows that officers met with the woman at Jane Phillips Medical Center where she had been treated with numerous injuries.  The victim told the police that she was at a friend's house when Robinson arrived and got into an argument with his girlfriend.  The defendant ran after his girlfriend, grabbed her hair, and dragged her home.  The affidavit states that Robinson grabbed a pair of scissors and cut the woman's arm, threw a tall mirror on the woman's head, and choked her with a belt.

Bond remains at $50,000.
