Unemployment Rates Steady

The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission is reporting that 68 of Oklahoma 77 counties have higher unemployment rates than this time a year ago. 

Washington, Nowata, and Osage counties saw their unemployment rates drop from last month.  Nowata County's unemployment rate is currently six percent, down from 6.5 percent.  Osage County's rate stands at 5.8 percent, down from 6.4 percent.  Meanwhile, Washington County's unemployment rate is 4.9 percent, down from 5.3 percent.
