ARF Fundraiser a Success

Last weekend the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) of Bartlesville held their second annual “Puttin' On The Leash” fundraiser banquet and successfully raised enough funds to complete construction on their new dog adoption, grooming and veterinarian areas of their Bartlesville sanctuary.

ARF has been working with the Washington County SPCA to conduct lost cost spay and neuter clinics throughout the year. However, ARF has always needed to use the SPCA's space in order to hold events. When the addition to ARFs existing sanctuary is completed they will be able to hold more frequent events to provide the community an opportunity to spay and neuter their animals at low cost, along with wellness exams in the future.

ARF is currently home to an average of 40 cats and kittens in a cage-free environment where they are waiting to be adopted into new homes, and this Sunday, December 11, ARF will be holding an Open House. Visit the ARF sanctuary, visit with the Staff, see the plans for the upcoming improvements for their dog area, and enjoy food and drinks. There will also be a pet psychic available to contact your four legged loved ones. The ARF Holiday Open House will take place Sunday from 2 to 4pm at the ARF sanctuary located at 39915 on US HWY 60, just a half mile east of Bison Rd. For additional information contact ARF at (918)766-0991.
