Bartlesville High baseball lost its second straight to Enid on Tuesday night in another close ballgame.

The Plainsmen topped the Bruins 4-3. For the second straight game BHS had the tying run on first base with less than two outs in the seventh, but could not force extra innings.

The game was tied at three until the bottom of the sixth when Enid scored the go-ahead run on a couple wild-pitches after a leadoff double. Grant Yardley continued his good week at the plate, he singled home Taylor Cobb in the second inning to tie the game at one.

Zach Snow picked up the loss on the mound despite pitching very well. He gave up four runs in six innings. He walked three and struck out five.

BHS falls to 10-13-1 on the season.

It will host Tulsa Memorial for a single game on Thursday night, then have two more district games on Friday evening against Bixby and Moore at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.
