Oklahoma Wesleyan was in action today in Lewiston, Idaho for the NAIA World Series. The Eagles fell to Missouri Baptist 5-3 in the team’s first game of the 10-team double elimination tournament.

After putting up over 13 runs per game last week in the Bartlesville Regional the Eagles bats couldn’t wake up today.

Senior left-hander Zach Johnson got the start and gave up four earned runs in four innings of work. Designated Hitter Alex Lugo added two RBI’s on the day.

Oklahoma Wesleyan will try to avoid elimination tomorrow against Science & Arts (Okla.). First pitch scheduled for 10:30 AM CST.
