A Bartlesville man was taken into custody on Sunday. On Monday, Austin Prater was in the Washington County Court for resisting an officer.

According to an affidavit, A Bartlesville Police Officer saw Prater walking on the sidewalk, and was aware that he had a warrant for his arrest out for an Assault and Batter with a Dangerous Weapon. The officer approached Prater when he took off running. The officer was able to catch him and place him under arrest.

Bond was set at $3,500.
