A Dewey woman is deada as a result a Saturday afternoon accident on County Road 400 south of State Highway 10.  The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports 39 year-old Shannon Swan was northbound on 4000 road and ran off the roadway to the right.  She hit a lelineator, overcorrected to the left, went off the road and hit a tree.  

 

Swan died at the scene from massive injuries sustained in the collision.  The State Medical Examiner responded ot the scene and transported her remains to Tulsa.
