In a matter of months, Pawhuska football has gone from winless, to beating playoff teams on the road.

The Huskies went into Barnsdall on Friday evening and stunned their Osage County rival, 28-12.

The win give Pawhuska three victories in 2018, which is better than the last two years combined.

The Huskies (3-2) never trailed, Pawhuska scored on a Bryce Drummond run with 6:18 left in the first quarter that gave them the lead for good in the game.

Barnsdall (3-2) would cut the lead to 22-12 after a touchdown late in the fourth quarter. The Panthers could not convert the two-point conversion after penalties. Then Pawhuska tacked on another touchdown before the final buzzer.
