The Nowata County Commissioners spent most of Monday morning's meeting about upgrading the courthouse elevator. After much discussion, the commissioners voted 2-1 to upgrade the elevator through Thyssen Krupt Company. The upgrades include installing a phone and improving the doors. Commissioner Tim Kilpatrick voted no on the question.

The next Nowata County Commissioners meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 30th at 9 am in the Nowata County Annex Meeting room, just across the street from the courthouse.
