The Caney Valley Trojans are working toward the meat of their district schedule as they get set to play Hominy this week. The Trojans are looking to recover from a big loss at Woodland last week. The Trojans will return home after playing three consecutive road games. Head coach Stephen Mitchell expects his team to play with good energy.

Quarterback Zak Wallis continues to show why Mitchell picked him as a ninth grader last year to lead the team. Wallis has thrown four touchdown passes and has cut down on turnovers tremendously. The one interception thrown has proved that offseason work on decision making has made a difference so far. Mitchell talks about his sophomore quarterback.

Daniel Barham and Hayden Wingo have played major roles catching passes on the outside. A renewed commitment to the running game has aided the Trojans offense this year as well. Kickoff for senior night from Ramona is set for 7 p.m. on Friday.
