Bartlesville High baseball played a whale of a game on Friday evening, as the Bruins came from behind to top Sequoyah 11-10 at Rigdon Field.

BHS tinkered with different pitchers after playing its fourth game in five days. Five different pitchers entered the game, with no one throwing more than 3.1 innings.

Walks were a problem for both teams, as there were a total of 21 runs scored on just nine base hits in the game.

The Bruins scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth to take a one-run lead. Three of the runs were walked in by Sequoyah pitching.

The win gets BHS back on track after a loss at Skiatook on Thursday. Bartlesville is 18-8 on the year.

BHS will be back at home on Saturday afternoon against NOAH, a noon first pitch from Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.
