Bartlesville Man Arrested On Drug Charges

A Bartlesville man is in custody after he allegedly was caught with possession of meth. 31-year old Eric Charles Bruce Hoffman is charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, assault with a deadly weapon, and possession of paraphernalia. Bartlesville police were called during the evening hours of April 22nd to Penn Plaza Liquor store in the 400 block of Southeast Washington to investigate of shots being fired. A witness told officers that Hoffman shot a BB gun at the store. According to a court affidavit, the police followed the vehicle from the liquor store to Wal-Mart. Hoffman was reportedly in the back seat of the vehicle and was taken into custody. The authorities found a large amount of meth where Hoffman was sitting in the car. Court records indicate that Hoffman had two outstanding warrants in Washington County. Hoffman's next court date is May 3rd. Bond was set at $50,000.
