Pathfinder Bridge Opens
A Bartlesville landmark receives a facelift. Since the beginning of September, a part of Pathfinder Parkway has been closed for repairs. Today, about six weeks later, a ribbon cutting was held for the grand re-opening of the Pathfinder Parkway Bridge. The bridge is a metal overpass with 235 wooden planks that had been weather worn and needed replacement. To pay for the planks, a fundraiser was held where planks could be purchased in memory of loved ones. One donor, Lisa Maye, purchased one in memory of her father. The bridge is located less than a mile from the high school and approximately a half mile from the Polaris Drive entrance to the Pathfinder. For more information about Pathfinder Parkway, click here.
