Commissioners Discuss Sheriff's Office Project
The Nowata County Commissioners took no action Monday morning on estimates of putting in a drain line in the Sheriff's Office. The item has been discussed for the past few weeks and county authorities have found a way to save thousands of dollars on the project. Commissioner Doug Sonenberg talked with the deputy sheriff and explained the situation. At first, estimates for the project would have been between $4,000 and $5,000. County officials now say it could cost just over $1,000. In other action, the commissioners approved to go out for hot mix/hot lay asphalt bids.
