Lower PSO Bills Coming
Public Service Company of Oklahoma customers will see a decrease in their electric bills because of a drop in the price for fuel used to generate electricity. Corporate Communications spokesman for PSO, Stan Whiteford says depending on your usage you should notice a drop of anywhere from 1.6 to 4.8 percent on your bill.
Whiteford says PSO is lowering the fuel cost adjustment on your bill. That means the residential customer who uses a thousand kilowatt-hours a month will pay about a dollar-39 less due to the change. PSO is prohibited by law from making a profit on the fuel it uses to generate electricity and the company passes along the cost savings to its customers.
