Man Arrested for Drug Possession may Face Kidnapping Charge
A man arrested for possession of marijuana may be facing kidnapping charges. A man was stopped Friday afternoon outside of the Kicks 66 station on highway 75 south of Bartlesville. Police stopped a car on a tip from Nowata that it may have been involved in a kidnapping. Upon investigation, authorities discovered that the driver had a suspended license and discovered marijuana in the vehicle. The man is currently in custody on a charge of possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license while the charge of kidnapping is being investigated.
