Bartlesville Man Arrested On Drug Violations
Washington County District Judge Curtis DeLapp held a probable cause hearing Friday afternoon for 60-year old Gerald Ray Baxter, who was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 2,000 feet of a school, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of paraphernalia. Bartlesville police served a search warrant at a home in the 800 block of SE Choctaw Avenue. According to a court affidavit, the authorities found inside the home approximately 20 grams of marijuana, a gram of meth, three glass smoking devices, a scale, syringes, and a surveilance camera. Reportedly, Baxter's home is approximately 1,368 feet from Richard Kane Elementary School. Court records indicate that Baxter has prior convictions in Washington County. Baxter's next court date is Monday, January 13th when charges are expected to be filed. Bond was set at $250,000.
