Dewey Man Arrested For Child Abuse
A $50,000 bond has been set on a Dewey man who allegedly abused his 10-year old son. 33-year old Cecil Harold Wilson is charged with child abuse by injury. Dewey police were called to a home in the 500 block of South Barclay to investigate a child abuse report. According to a court affidavit, the boy told police that his dad slapped him several times in the face. The victim also told the authorities that Wilson pulled him out of a pickup causing the boy to fall on the concrete, injuring the boy's arms and legs. Officers found the boy had a swollen lip and a bruised face. Wilson reportedly admitted striking the child. Wilson is on probation for assault and battery of the same victim. Wilson's next court date is February 7th.
