Nowata County Commissioners Accept Truck Bid
The Nowata County Commissioners Monday morning approved a bid from Boxcer Equipment of Tulsa to purchase a 2006 or newer dump truck with less than 200,000 miles. The original price was $66,150, but with a trade in for a John Deere motor grader, the cost including the trade in was $18,000. The truck that county officials purchased is a 2006 dump truck and has 198,000 miles. The commissioners accepted a Right of Way Service agreement with Meshek and Assoicates PLC for a bridge project in Curtis Barnes' district. The project is at Bridge 69 near Curl Creek.
