Stabbing at Taco Bell
A stabbing at the Taco Bell in Bartlesville sends two men to the hospital. The incident occurred Wednesday just after 11:30. According to Bartlesville Police Investigator Jay Hastings, 25 year old Benjamin Levi Walton stabbed his 49 year old co-worker three times before being confronted by a Bartlesville Police officer.
The officer and the victim were both transported to Jane Phillips Medical Center, the victim with three stab wounds and the officer with minor injuries and a heart attack. The victim has been reported to be in stable condition as the stab wounds were not life threatening and the officer is now stable and alert. It is believed the Walton was under the influence of drugs at the time and is currently in Washington County Jail with charges of aggravated assault with a weapon, assault on a police officer, and resisting arrest.
