City Council Approves Sonic Project

The Bartlesville City Council Monday night voted 4-1 in favor to re-zone land located at 720 SW Jennings to construct a Sonic restaurant.  The property is located near St. John Catholic Church and school   Traffic concerns were brought up during the public hearing, especially the safety of St.John's students.  St. John's principal Traci McGee brought up the concerns.  Three other citizens spoke during the public hearing.  The Metropolitan Area Planning Commission voted 5-2 in their July 22nd meeting to recommend to approve the application.
