A Bartlesville man is free on a $100,000 bond after being arrested for allegedly choking his wife.  33-year old Scott Andrew Howie is charged with assault and battery by strangulation and threats to kill.  Bartlesville police investigated a domestic case at a home in the 1500 block of Penn.  According to a court affidavit, Howie's wife told the police she got into an argument with Howie over his lifestyle.  Reportedly, the suspect began choking the victim as she was screaming to wake up her daughter, was thrown down into the garage and fell onto a gallon of paint.  Howie then picked her up by her hair, threw her back down and pushed her face into the paint.  Later, the suspect put a pipe against his wife, then put a wire around her neck, trying to choke her, and was able to escape.  The suspect caught her, chokes her again and threaten to kill her.  Howie's next court date is March 13th.
