Christmas is a lot nicer this year for 31 Bartlesville youngsters who took part in the Police Reserve's "Shop With a Cop" program Saturday morning.   The reserve officers received a list of names from the Department of Human Services and invited the youngsters to take part.  Police Chief Tom Holland says the day started at 7:30 with breakfast for the shoppers.

Each one had time with Santa and the reserve officers took each child's picture.

Holland says members of the community donated to the event so that participants would have some shopping money.  He says every year there is always at least one youngster that makes the event memorable.

The Shop With a Cop event is special morning for everyone concerned every year.
