First District Congressman Jim Bridenstine says he expects to see the budget process work more the way it traditionally has once the next congress is seated.  Bridenstine spoke to a Bartlesville Chamber of Commerce Eggs and Issues forum Tuesday morning at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Bridenstine is confident that the House and Senate will be able to pass a budget in regular order.

Bridenstine says he deosn't know how the president will receive a Republican budget.

Bridenstine voted against what he calls the "CRomnibus" budget.  That's what he calls the measure that combines the Continuing Resolution for five appropriations areas that are under a Continuing Resolution to fund the government as the same rate in previous years and the areas that are covered under the omnibus spending bill that funds the government in the areas that the house has debated and passed in regular order.
