The Dewey Bulldoggers basketball team won their fourth game in a row Friday night with a 57-34 pounding of Caney Valley, Kansas Bullpups while the Lady Doggers lost 65-29 to Caney Valley.

In the girls game, it was all Caney Valley as they outscored Dewey 17-4 in the final period to pull away with the win.  Erin Hershock led the Lady Doggers with 11 points.  Caney Valley had two players score in double figures.  Desiree Nelson finished with a game high 20 points and made four-3 point shots while Kolbi McIntosh finished with 15 points.  Lady Doggers are now 1-7 on the season.

It was a different story for the boys game as it was all Dewey.  The Doggers led 31-12 at halftime and never looked back to pick up their fourth straight win.  Drew Miller led Dewey with a game high 16 points while Trenton Anderson finished with 14 points.  The Bullpups were led by Wade Davis with nine points.  Dewey improves to 4-4 on the season while Caney Valley drops to 1-2.

Dewey will have some time off before getting back on the court on January 6th at Cleveland.
