Bartlesville Police Detectives served a search warrant Friday night at an apartment located in the 1700 block of Barlow drive. Police obtained the warrant with information found in a stolen vehicle located in Tulsa last Tuesday morning.  Chief of Police Tom Holland said during a KWON City Matters program that detectives located a stolen handgun and other items from car burglaries reported on December 16th and November 22 inside the apartment.

The handgun apparently was reported stolen out of Tulsa. Some of the victims property recovered had been stolen over a year ago. Holland says arrests are being made.

Detectives arrested 31 year old Rashad Samir Scott of Bartlesville and charged him with Possession of Stolen Property, Vehicle Theft, and possession of a firearm by a felon.  Scott's next court date is Tuesday morning when charges are expected to be filed.  Bond was set at $25,000.
