A dinosaur has escaped or may have been captured in Bartlesville. The dinosaur is actually a 9-foot tall statue of a Tyrannosaurus Rex that has been outside the Classic Pet Center store for close to a decade. K-WON news partner, KOTV, reports that the statue is usually tied down with cables. Owner Kathy Keim said the store was so busy on Sunday, they didn't even notice the dinosaur missing until late in the day.

Keim said she dressed the dinosaur to fit the season and people brought their children to the store just to see the dinosaur. She said a family came in on Monday and their son was crying because he's “never see the dinosaur again.” Keim is contacting the police today and hopefully the Tyrannosaurus Rex will find his way home soon.
