The end of January means it's time to take the Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics. Freezin' for a Reason has been a fundraiser for quite sometime. In Bartlesville, it happens this Saturday beginning at 11 A.M. behind the Painted Horse Restaurant. Owner Mark Spencer said this is the second year that the event has taken place at his restaurant and he's glad to do it.

Spencer said he thinks they broke a record last year for funds raised in Bartlesville. So dig your bathing suit out and get ready for some freezin' for a reason. The event begins at 11 A.M. But get there early to be the first in line.
