About 200 people gathered at Bartlesville's Community Center Saturday night to celebrate and

support the Price Tower Arts Center.  Mike Wilt Emceed the 11th-annual Price Tower Gala. 

Price Tower Board member Brad Doenges called the evening an occasion not only to celebrate the Price Tower's nomination as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but to continue the work of one of the Price Tower's biggest supporters, the late Pete Silas.

 Doenges says the gala is an event primarily to thank those people who have made contributions of several hundred dollars, everyone can do their part to preserve one of Bartlesville's special landmarks for future generations.
 
Mike Wilt served as the auctioneer for eleven items up for bid and there were more than forty items on the silent auction tables.
