Wright Arrested For Possessing Stolen Property

A Bartlesville man who was stopped on a traffic violation ends up getting arrested for allegedly possessing stolen items.  50-year old Steven Charles Wright is charged with knowingly concealing stolen property and driving with a suspended license.  Bartlesville police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of 18th and Armstrong for a defective license plate light.  According to a court affidavit, officers found in the bed of the truck a number of large automotive style batteries and several propane tanks.  Reportedly, the police learned the items were stolen from a construction company and the suspect's license was suspended.  The police also found inside the truck tools, fishing equipment, a prescription medication, and a GPS.  Court records indicate that Wright have some cases pending in Washington County.  Wright's next court date is March 13th.  Bond was set at $100,000.
